If you'll be
installing video projection equipment weighing no more than
25 lbs to a flat ceiling but require the ability to adjust
the height of your unit, one of these three kits may be
a perfect match for you. Each kit provides the mount, a
different length of height adjustable column each, as well
as a Spider Universal adapter plate, a ceiling plate, and
hardware for wood or concrete installs. Each of these mounts
provides independent roll, pitch and yaw range of motion.
For most standardized installations, these kits provide
you all the basic components needed, saving you the necessity
of choosing individual components. More complex or customized
requirements can still take advantage of a wide variety
of accessories available separately for use with these kit
components.
These three preconfigured
kits all include a Spider™ Universal adapter plate for
use on modern projectors whose top surface mounting
holes fall within a 15.63" diameter. These kits provide
an all-in-one solution for quick and easy installations
with variable drop ceilings. One model has a 3" height
adjustment range; and two offer a 6" height adjustment
range, with maximum length able to be set as long as
26"L. Adjustments are set in 1" increments.

The three universal mounting kits presented on this page
all share many of the same functional characteristics. That
makes it easier to discern their unique differences and
decide which offers the best solution for your environment.
The major distinction between each projector mount kit is
the length and adjustability of the ceiling extension column.
All the steel columns are designed "tube in tube," with
the two column tubes sliding into a new height position
(in 1" increments) that are then locked using a bolt and
nut. Maximum weight capacity for all is 25 lbs., so check
the weight of your projection equipment prior to ordering.
Item
# 15-PRS-KIT0811
kit provides the shortest overall length column which you
can set between 8"h to 11"h. The overall weight of this kit's
components is 6 lbs.
The
# 15-PRS-KIT1420 kit features a longer extension column that lets you
adjust its height setting between 14"h to 20"h. This kit's
overall weight is 8 lbs.
Kit
# 15-PRS-KIT2026
offers the longest extension column of the three. The length
of the column extension allows height adjustment to be set
between 20" to 26" maximum. This kit's components weigh
an overall 10 lbs.
Of course, you also have
the option of flush mounting if the need arises in the future.
Once installed you're able to make the necessary adjustments
for proper image alignment with the pitch, roll and yaw
range of motion. There's independent roll of +/-10°, a +/-5°
pitch range, as well as 360° yaw (swivel) when attached
to extension column (yaw is limited to +/-15° if you flush
mount any of these).

the versatility for matching the mounting hole requirements
of the vast majority of modern ceiling mounting projectors.
This eliminates the necessity for most consumers to order

The built-in cord management
access hole keeps cords hidden because it provides routing
access through the extension column. Cleaning and maintenance
is easy thanks to the Quick Release which allows you to
hold the projector securely and remove it by simply turning
a knob.
