When providing added protection for your delicate liquid crystal display screen is more important to you than protection from glare, check our polycarbonate LX product line. Designed to be mounted directly onto your LCD display, these transparent screens are rigid, but offer just enough flexibility to bend, rather than crack. Dust and dirt is more safely removed from this filter than your actual liquid crystal display, and your LCD's display receives some protection from accidental contact. Your LCD screen protector has also been treated so it provides some glare reduction. Four sizes of LCD computer monitors can use these LCD screen protectors: 14.1", 15", 17", and 18.1", measured diagonally.

The 14.1" and 15" direct contact computer filters will also fit many laptop computer screens measuring those sizes. Now even your laptop's delicate LCD display will receive LCD screen protection.

The construction of a LCD screen protector is for long-term, stable attachment. It is not meant to be regularly attached and then detached. However, when necessary, you can remove this computer filter. Care is recommended whenever one is working near the display screen.

Soft cleaning cloth included with your protection screen order. Shipment of these filters include a cloth to clean off the usual dust or pet hair that can build up on your screen filter. Unlike the delicate liquid crystal screen (LCD) of your computer, these filters are able to be cleaned with less opportunity for impact. Gently wiping off the surface of your filter with the cleaning cloth will remove light residue.

Determining the size filter your LCD requires. Determine the accurate size of the computer filter you require by measuring your LCD screen diagonally, as demonstrated at left. Unlike CRTs, in which part of the screen's overall size is behind the monitor housing, LCD screen measurements are known as "true" because what you see is the size required.
