This mobile unit is a
perfect stand that centrally organizes your equipment in
one place. Video gear, laptop, camera, sound equipment all
have a place in these well-designed mobile carts. There's
a total of seven surfaces plus two internal rack rails for
rack mounted equipment. There's also lift-lid cut-outs for
routing cables and electrical gear, and the top stationary
shelf can house your electrical surge protector and cords.
Not only is there ample
space designed into this cabinet system to house your media
equipment, its mobility lets you transport your cart into
different areas. Security of your equipment is aided by
a hinged front door that locks. The pneumatic shelf makes
the height adjustment of a piece of equipment, such as a
camcorder, placed on
it easily managed with
the touch of the lever. Do you require podiums for your
office? The pneumatic shelf can also serves as a podium
surface for notes.

The frame is 18 gauge black powder coated steel set on 4"
casters (2 locking). The storage box is constructed of 1/2"
laminate over particle board. The lockable front door can
be opened completely, so it lays flat against the side of
the cabinet where a magnet holds it open when your unit
is in use. What will impress you most though is this unit's
ability to house the AV equipment your department requires
so it can be prepared for professional presentations. The
shelves are designed with the user in mind:

The "cut-out" area, shown in the photo at left, is designed
into the stationary top surface of the cabinet. A surge
protector and cabling (not included) can be kept out of
sight but available for quick access when you're attaching
or detaching equipment needed for your presentation.
The rear cabinet on these audio
visual carts include a cut out area with a locking lift
lid (shown at right) which allow for ventilation and cable
routing.

Keep your equipment locked inside the cabinet when not in use and during meeting breaks.
Optional
equipment: Organize your electrical plugs and
help protect electrical devices from power surges and voltage
spikes with an optional surge protector (Available only
at time of AV furniture order.). Unit includes seven electrical outlets and phone/modem ports.
