Office Lights - Ambient Lamps - Mount on Office Panels, Top or Side

- Choose a 2- or 4-lamp system with this high performance light

Office lights for panel mounting are available for either top or side. Providing quality indirect lighting for your professional office panel system is a must! The Marigold model offers you two options for panel mount settings: Top Panel Mounting or Side Panel Mounting, so you have greater flexibility in designing office areas. There are five housing lengths from which to choose, as well as whether you prefer lamps with two or four bulbs. Naturally, there are color choices that allow you to complement your decor.

Ambient lamps feature energy efficiency. Your lamp order includes T-8 tri-phosphor 3500k bulbs. Some models feature two bulbs and others feature four bulbs, again providing you flexibility based on your facility needs. These bulbs are 1" diameter, yet are up to 20% more efficient than standard T8 or T12 bulbs. Bulbs are set parallel within the die-formed steel housing, and the housing designed to create indirect "up light" that spreads a soft, effective illumination.

Above picture shows a 34-AL2,
two bulb version. Depending on your needs, you can order models designed with either two or four low-mercury T8 tri-phosphor lamps.

Electronic ballasts. These ambients are designed with electronic ballasts, which provides cooler and more efficient operation. You won't experience the audible hum that is often an annoyance with a magnetic ballast lamp. Voltage fluctuation flicker associated with copiers and laser printers is also eliminated.

When planning the layout of your panel office system, remember how important it is to provide suitable over desk lighting. The Marigold top panel mount lights (coded as -PM) include brackets that mount on the bottom of the housing and clasp over the panel's top frame. If you prefer to attach these into the paneling side frames, cantilever models (coded  -CL) are available to extend and fit into many sizes of panels.

Check the panel system cross reference chart. Panel system manufacturers have their own designs. Check our ambient cross reference chart to see if the AL2 or AL4 (whichever is your preference) is available for your system. If you don't find your system's manufacturer and model included for this lamp, contact us to inquire if a recent configuration has been added.

A choice of ambient lamp standard sizes. The graphic below demonstrates that though the housings for both the AL2 and the AL4 have the same depth (13"d) and height (2-1/2"h), bulbs mount parallel in fixtures of various lengths.
