Kitting several components
together creates suitable solutions for a variety of
ceiling installations. All of the four kits offered
on this page include the innovative RPA-U Universal
ceiling mount. Its adjustable "legs" offer expanding
flexibility to enable the mounting of most modern inverted
projectors. One kit offers a solution for most suspended
ceiling installs. In another situation, angled ceilings
require a special ceiling adapter plate and, usually,
the ability to adjust projector height, so there's a
suitable 18" to 24" angled/adjustable height solution
provided here. Simple, flat ceiling installs that will
require an extension column providing significant height
adjustment (18"L to 24"L) is available for your consideration,
while those with minor height adjustment needs (6"H
to 9"H) will find a kit with this capability. The "Features"
area below details the components making up each kit.
While
many of the components included in these kits can hold
hundreds of pounds, it's most important to realize that
the universal bracket included with each of these kits
has a maximum weight capacity of 50 lbs. That weight
limit is more than ample to ensure the proper carriage
of the majority of inverted LCD video projectors on
the market.

Item # 25-RPA-U
This mounting component
(above)
is common to all four preconfigured kits.
|
The
heart of each kit's universality, the low-profile, aesthetic
design packs lots of functional features. It's UL Listed
for strength, partly due to its steel-into-steel construction.
It's universal bracket allows it to fit 95% of modern
inverted video projectors on the market. The All-Points™
Security System is included with each RPA, though it
is optional to use; this theft prevention system locks
the projector and mount with security hardware at all
key connection points. There's quick projector disconnect/reconnect,
independent roll (+/-4°), pitch (+/-25°), and swivel
(a.k.a yaw of 360° adjustment) adjustments too (note
that the exact degree will depend on the application
to which it is attached), and construction that allows
for proper ventilation. Cable management design provides
for routing through the top.

Item # 25-CMA-006009
|
You'll find more than one kit that includes it. This
column allows adjustments between 18"h to 24" in 1"
increments so the projection equipment can be lowered
or raised to desired height. It includes set screws
for added rigidity. This column has both ends male and
can be used with any 1-1/2" NPT accessory.
This 18" to 24" adjustable
extension column (above) is included with two of the
kits: The # 25-KIT-PA018024 set and also Item # 25-KIT-PF018024.

Item # 25-CMA-003
This 3"L fixed extension
column
is included as part of Kit #25-KIT-PS003.
|
The # 25-KIT-PS003 kit utilizes this 3" long fixed extension
1-1/2" NPT column with threads at both ends.

Item # 25-CMA-101
Two of our kits include
this Ceiling Plate
(above) with 4" x 4" mounting pattern for
simple installs. It's in Item # 25-KIT-PF006009
and also # 25-KIT-PF018024.

Its designed for ease of
installation with a column drop. Overall dimensions:
5"L x 5"W x .69" thick. The 4" x 4" mounting hole pattern
is designed to allow use of 3/8" mounting bolts. Includes
set screw to secure 1-1/2" diameter NPT column to ceiling
plate.

Item # 25-CMA395
This Angled Ceiling Plate
(above) is a
component in the one kit designed
for use with on angled ceilings:
Kit Item # 25-KIT-PA018024.

It accepts the 1-1/2" diameter NPT threaded extension
included with this kit. Three slotted mounting holes
allow horizontal and vertical adjustment for a more
precise install. Includes set screw.
Dimensions: 4-1/4"H x 3"W
x 7-1/2"L
Built strong, it's overall
weight capacity is 500 lbs. maximum. However, the universal
mounting plate that will be connecting your projection
equipment is rated to hold projectors weighing less
than 50 lbs. Still, there's security in knowing how
brawny this compact ceiling plate really is.

Installs above ceiling
tiles and is
incorporated into the preconfigured
Item # 25-KIT-PS003

This is a set within
the total kit (# 25-KIT-PS003) and it installs above
ceiling tile. Unit clamps easily to ceiling tracks.
Comes with 10'L safety cable, 20'L strand wire, two
outlet knockouts, four turnbuckles, wood eye bolts,
concrete anchors and chrome ring. Perfect for
mounting most LCD/DLP projectors under 50 lbs. Its infinite
adjustment capability allows the positioning of 1-1/2"
NPT opening at nearly any location within a 2'x2' or
2'x4' ceiling tile. The CMA-440 is also compatible with
600mm x 600mm or 600mm x 1200mm ceiling tile in Europe,
Canada and Mexico. Color: White.
