The single link arm itself is
16.13"L and is ideal for small work spaces or offices where the mounting
point is close to the project requiring illumination. If you have a large
work space or an office where the mounting point is far from the task being
illuminated, the double-link arm may be more appropriate. The double-link
lamp provides you two
arm lengths of 16.13"L each. These Foxglove task lamps use an energy efficient
20 watt self-ballasted compact fluorescent 2700K bulb.
Straight single arm allows up and down movement. Both straight arms of the
dual link model move up and down. The lamp head can also be raised or
lowered as well as swiveled for appropriate placement. Use this lamp at your desk by ordering
either a freestanding table base or an edge clamp that can adjust to fit
work surfaces up to 1.625" thick. Every model incorporates a two position,
easily accessed black rocker switch. Each model's heads and bases
coordinate. Order your adjustable desk lamps in either white or black.

manageable
weight for easy
maneuverability.
Table clamp
models come with
a clamp mount
that allows you
to tighten your
lamp's arm to
the edge of a
work surface
(surfaces can
not be thicker
than 1.625"
thick). These
provide the
benefit of
keeping more of
your work
surface
available for
use. They're
also utilized on many surfaces
that are
slightly tilted,
such as drafting
tables.
The table base
model comes with
a freestanding
base to
which the arm
will attach.
It's oval
footprint
measures overall
7-1/4" x 9-1/4".
These light
fixtures come in
a silver
finish but may be
ordered with the
head and base
with either a black or
white color for
distinctive
accenting that

When you order
your lamp as a
clamp mounting
model (shown in
photo at right),
it can be
attached to the
edge of tables,
desks or other
work surfaces
with an
overhanging lip.
The clamp screw
lets you adjust
it to fit desk
surfaces up to
1.625" thick.
This connection
also uses
significantly
less work
surface, and it
also provides
you the freedom
to change the
lamp's location
to a different
area on the work
surface or
completely
remove it should
your office
situation
warrant.

light (CFL).
Compared to
standard
incandescent
light bulbs of
comparable light
output, a CFL
will:

savings in
the cost of
energy. Thus, while
a traditional
incandescent
light bulb
may be less
expensive to
purchase,
they are
much more
expensive to
operate.

Compact
fluorescents
have a lamp
life of up
to 13x
longer.
Specifically,
a 20 watt CFL has an
average life
of 6,000
hours.

CFLs have a
high light
output that
often
exceeds
standard
incandescent
lamps.

According to
the
Environmental
Protection
Agency
(EPA), using
CFL
equipment
reduces
carbon
monoxide
emission
(replacing
one
incandescent
light bulb
with an
energy
saving CFL
reduces
emission to
the
atmosphere
by 1,000
lbs.)

are designed
with a Color
Rendering
Index (CRI)
of 82, which
is good,
because that
means it is
on the high
end of the 0
to 100 scale
and
indicates
that colors
will appear
more natural
when
illuminated
by this
lamp.

watt CFL
with a 2700K
lamp
provides a
2700 CCT, or
Correlated
Color
Temperature,
providing a
yellow-white
color
appearance
and are
described as
"warm" color
(compared,
for example,
to those
with a high
CCT
blue-white
light of
4,000K
degrees that
are
described as
"cool." )
